Privacy policy

This policy explains what RR Road Inc. ("we") does with the information you send through rrroadinc.com, in plain language.

What we collect

Only what you choose to send us. Through the quote form that is your name and email address, and — if you give them — your company, your phone number, the pickup and delivery locations, a description of the load, its dimensions and weight, how it loads, when it is ready, and anything you write in the notes.

If you call, text or email us, we receive whatever you send in that conversation, including any photographs.

What we do not collect

This website runs no analytics, no advertising pixels and no third-party trackers, and sets no tracking cookies. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.

Because nothing on the site tracks you, a browser’s Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal does not change anything here — the site already behaves as those signals ask.

How we use it

To answer your request: to prepare a quote, ask follow-up questions, plan and arrange a shipment, and keep the business records that go with it.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing or advertising.

Who handles it for us

Cloudflare hosts this website and runs the code that receives the quote form. To protect the form from abuse, it briefly keeps a count of requests from each network address (for a few minutes), and if our email provider is unavailable it may hold an undelivered request for up to 90 days so it can still reach us.

Resend delivers the quote form to our inbox as an email, and Microsoft 365 hosts that inbox.

Each of these providers processes the information only to provide its service to us. If a shipment goes ahead, the details needed to move it are shared with the parties involved in that shipment — for example a customs broker or a permit office.

How long we keep it

Quote requests and correspondence are kept for as long as we need them to answer you, carry out any shipment, and meet our record-keeping obligations as a motor carrier. Requests that go nowhere are deleted when they are no longer useful.

Your choices

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. To do any of these, email [email protected] or call (559) 999-4191. We will not treat you differently for asking.

If you are a California resident, you also have the right to know whether we sell or share personal information. We do neither.

Children

This website is for businesses arranging freight. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

If what this website does with information changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top is updated.
