RR-ROAD ABOUT
About RR Road
A small carrier. On purpose.
RR Road Inc. runs one truck and two open-deck trailers out of Fresno, California. It is run by its owners, and the size is the point: the people who answer the phone are the people responsible for the load.
Why open deck
Most freight fits in a box: a 53 ft van, loaded at a dock, closed and sealed. The freight RR Road is built for does not. It is too tall, too heavy, too wide or too awkward — a tractor, an excavator, a machine on skids, a bundle of steel.
That kind of freight is measured before it is quoted, matched to a trailer that suits it, loaded by forklift, crane or its own tracks, and chained down to rules that leave nothing to opinion. When it is oversize, it travels on permits that name the roads and the hours. When it crosses the border, it travels on paperwork that has to match it exactly.
None of that rewards a call center. It rewards a small team that knows its own trailers, plans each load properly and stays on the phone. That is the company RR Road is.
What small means for your load
Four things you can expect.
You reach a person who knows the load
There is no dispatch floor and no call queue. When you call or text, you reach Sanjeev — and the conversation about your load happens with the people responsible for it.
Straight answers about fit
Two trailers cover a lot of open-deck freight, but not all of it. If your load does not suit either one, you will hear that on the first call, not on the morning of pickup.
The plan before the price
Dimensions, weight, trailer, route, permits, border paperwork. The quote is built from those, so it covers the whole move rather than the easy part of it.
Paperwork that matches the freight
A bill of lading signed at pickup and delivery, the electronic manifest sent before every border crossing, and permits that name the load actually on the deck.
Your contact
Sanjeev.
Quotes, scheduling, questions about a load already on the road — one number for all of it. Calls and texts both reach the team that runs the truck. Photos of your load are welcome by text.
